Problem / Objectives / Constraints:
To revamp the entire User Experience & Interface of the Mini Apps

  • The older UI was built on ext.js library. The new UI must use ext.js library, and should involve less code change.
  • The new user interface should match the visual style of INARA, (another RedSeal product) with tabs on top.
  • The Results of any query generated by the Apps, should be more readable, understandable and Intuitive.
  • Appealing visual style
    The new User Experience should not vary between desktop and mobile devices, save for some subtle UI changes.

Touch friendly UI:
Apart from this UIl, another version of UI, focused more on touch-devices, and improved User Interface based on feedback is in the works.

User behaviour observed with the new User Interface :

  • Personas based on Network Security / Risk Consultants gave positive feedback overall
  • Users reported they were able to find links easily, read the data with lot more clarity (Whitespace), “never-got-lost” feeling
